The #BringBackOurGirls campaign group have urged the federal government to step up efforts in a quest to bring back the over 200 abducted chiboks girls.
The group is advocating for the release of the over 200 girls abducted by members of a terrorist group, Boko Haram.
And this time around they are calling on the government to take more drastic action to ensure that the girls are rescued soonest.
Citing the constitution, the group said: “Any action that violates our constitutionally guaranteed rights as citizens, particularly our rights to freedom of expression, peaceful assembly and association, among others as enshrined in Chapter Four (Section 40) of the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria (as amended) is illegal and unconstitutional.
In another development, Members of the Bring Back Our Girls campaign group in Abuja have also rejected a suggestion that the group should carry out their advocacy from their homes as a result of the security situation in Abuja after a bomb explosion.
