Both Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik have broken the silence following the news that their engagement has ended.
Perrie, 22, led the way, speaking out first after the devastating news that Zayn had called off their relationship, in news that left their fans shocked.
The singer appeared on E! on Tuesday shortly after the news broke along with the rest of her Little Mix bandmates as she put on a brave face – and was asked how she is coping.
The host asked her: ‘Perrie, obviously I know it’s a very tough time for you with the news breaking today about you and Zayn, so your fans, I know, are heartbroken.
The singer appeared emotional, but replied: ‘I’m good, thank you.’
Fellow bandmate Leigh-Anne supportively looked out for her heartbroken pal by adding: ‘We don’t really want to talk about it.’
Just hours after it was revealed that she had been dumped by Zayn, Perrie was hard at work.
Meanwhile Zayn, also 22, has also broken his silence after the shocking news, but in a more subdued and cryptic way.
