Two men critical after shooting outside J. Cole hip-hop concert in New Jersey
Two men are hospitalized in critical condition after a shooting outside a hip-hop concert in central New Jersey.
The shooting happened late Monday outside the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, causing panic among the crowd attending a show by Big Sean and J. Cole.
Eighteen-year-old Omayma Bougdour told the NY Daily News gunfire began after an argument broke out in the parking lot.
She said ‘everyone started sprinting and stampeding’.
Two men, ages 23 and 24, were flown to Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune in critical condition after the shooting.
State police say the suspect fled into some woods nearby. They brought in K-9 dogs as part of their search effort.
As of noon Tuesday, that person remained at large.
PNC Bank Arts Center says the show was sold out.
Big Sean and J. Cole are touring together. They’re to perform at Madison Square Garden in New York on Tuesday.
