Facebook is fast turning to the new Youtube. Even Facebook cannot deny that with the way they now pack our timelines with videos these days. It gets worse on your mobile phone because my iPhone Facebook app scrolls to the next video automatically after a video gets to the end.
These days, I get to see about 4-6 videos out of 10 timeline updates on my timeline. This is actually cool for me because I like to watch a lot of videos but the annoying part is that the videos play automatically as you scroll on to them. Yes, they stop immediately the video is no longer viewable too.
For many of us in countries where purchasing data plans is still very expensive, we don’t like videos playing automatically. We have to be sure we want to watch this video and click on play by ourselves. Thankfully, Facebook has made this easy for us to control.
