After reporting three new cases of Ebola virus on Friday in less than three months after Liberia was declared Ebola free, the United States has agreed to send two experts to Liberia o help investigate the sequence of Ebola outbreaks in the nation.
The West African nation was first declared Ebola-free on 9 May, but new cases emerged in June resulting in two deaths. It was declared free of the virus again on 3 September.
Liberia has seen more than 10,000 Ebola cases and more than 4,000 deaths. since the outbreak in March last year.
