The newly premiered Star Wars: The Force Awakens is on target for a record-breaking opening weekend shattering box office numbers to rake in $250 million just in North America.

Deadline.com said Saturday that the Disney film had grossed $100 million in just 21 hours by 1 p.m. on Friday. It’s Thursday night previews take of $57 million eclipsed Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2 that had held the record for the biggest preview Thursday at $43.5 million.
