Hi NGTrends Readers,
My boyfriend and I started dating about three years ago. However, this year is the first year that we have really gotten to be together (we were long distance prior to this year). I had noticed some months ago, that my boyfriend, has very bad plaque on nearly all of his teeth. It has turned me off a bit. I feel really awful saying that. I am concerned about his health more than anything. My boyfriend told me recently he hasn’t been to a dentist in a little over ten years. He has good health insurance and would only have to pay a small co-pay if he went to see a dentist. I’ve tried finding subtle ways of hinting him to see a dentist. Nothing has really worked. I want to just tell him but he’s sensitive, and I am sure he’d likely get offended. He’s a really sweet guy and I love him — I just want him to take better care of his health — something he doesn’t do too well.
