Super Eagles/Manchester City player, Kelechi Iheanacho has received three awards at the club’s Alternative End of Season awards for his outstanding contribution over the course of the 2015-2016 season.
He picked up the Best Fluke Goal award for his strike against Swansea City in December. The ex-Golden Eaglets star was credited with the goal in added time after Yaya Toure’s curling effort deflected off him.
He was nominated for the Best Consolation Goal for his screamer against Southampton, but the award was eventually handed out to Sergio Aguero for his goal in the 4-1 loss to Liverpool.
The 19-year-old Iheanacho got an honourable mention in the Individual Performance of the Season for his hat-trick versus Aston Villa.
