Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce might be trying to figure out the real problems facing the Nigerian economy. He has said that the economic down turn has gone beyond the crash in oil prices.
The lawmaker, who has been at the forefront urging Nigerians to start buying products made in the country said that oil accounts for 15% of our GDP, therefore, the economic problems facing the nation has gone beyond oil crash.
“Our economy is troubled. And this trouble isn’t just because of the crash of oil. No. Oil accounts for 15% of our GDP. This is more than oil,” he tweeted.
