OJB’s final burial rites will commence on July 4, 2016, which is the day he would have turned 50.
Through a statement signed by his brother, Apostle Albert Okungbowa, the family stated that the ceremony will kick off with a candle light procession on Monday July 4, 2016 from 5pm at his residence 4, Gbaja street, Surulere, Lagos.
The legendary music maker known for the success of many top Nigerian artistes today including Wizkid and 2Face battled with kidney problems since 2013 until he passed away this month.
His body has already been deposited in Farewell Funeral Homes, Isolo.
He is survived by his father, Chief Anthony Okungbowa(Arase of Agbor); siblings, Mrs.Theresa Ebunola Gamba(USA), Mr. Cornelius Archibong(England), Mr. Albert Okungbowa(USA), Mr. Anthony Okungbowa, Marvin Okungbowa, Bose Ajila Okungbowa, Joseph Okungbowa; wives, Mabel Babatunde Okungbowa, June Okungbowa, Korede Okungbowa and eight children.
