The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E. A. Adeboye on Tuesday morning visited the family of the slain Assistant Pastor of the Divine Touch Parish of the church, Mrs Eunice Elisha Olawale in Kubwa area of Abuja.
The forty-two-year-old mother of seven was murdered in cold blood around Gbazango-West area of Kubwa in the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) while evangelizing last Saturday morning.
Adeboye visited the husband of the deceased, Pastor Olawale Elisha and the family around 6 a.m. to console them.
The wife of the vice president Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, also a pastor of the RCCG, had also paid a condolence visit to the deceased’s husband and children on Sunday afternoon.
The Chairman of the Bwari Arae Council, Hon Musa Dikko, has also visited the late preacher’s family.
The FCT Police command said two suspects are being held in relation to the murder of the preacher yesterday. The killing has continued to generate outrage from Nigerians who condemned the act.
