Former Real Madrid striker Ronaldo de Lima has made a return back to Real Madrid for an advisory and ambassadorial role.
The 39-year-old will work under Florentino Perez who signed him in the summer transfer of 2002 for £36.3million from Inter Milan.
According to Marca, Ronaldo will resume his administrative appointment in September where he is expected to work with former teammate Zinedine Zidane.
The former Barcelona striker has been linked with a move back to Real but the Brazilian legend was tied down with helping his country organize the 2014 World Cup.
With 107 goals in 117 appearances, Ronaldo has been one of the greatest ever striker. Ronaldo was named FIFA World Player of the Year on three occasions including 1996, 1997 and 2002 – during his career at Real Madrid.
The striker recently omitted namesake Cristiano Ronaldo when picking his best XI, instead he included Lionel Messi of Barcelona.
